The Introduction to Penile Implant Surgery: Fundamentals and Techniques workshop is designed for healthcare professionals seeking to build foundational knowledge and skills in penile prosthesis surgery. This beginner-level program provides an overview of patient selection, pre-operative preparation, step-by-step surgical techniques for both malleable and inflatable penile implants, and post-operative care. Participants will benefit from semi-live surgical demonstrations and interactive discussions led by experienced faculty, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. The workshop aims to equip attendees with the confidence and competence to begin incorporating penile prosthesis surgery into their practice.

Intended Learning Outcomes

Dr. Anas M. Hasan Alobaidi
Senior Urologist and Chief of Urology Department, Al Forat Hospital, Najaf, Iraq

Dr. Anas M. Hasan Alobaidi serves as Senior Urologist and Chief of the Urology Department at Al Forat Hospital in Najaf, Iraq. He is also an andrologist at the Infertility Center of Alsadr Medical City in Najaf.

With a primary focus on Andrology, Penile Prosthesis Surgery, and Male Infertility, Dr. Alobaidi is recognized as the leading implanter of Inflatable Penile Implants in Iraq, performing over 100 cases annually. Additionally, he is among the highest-volume implanters of Malleable Penile Prostheses (MPP), with over 300 cases annually.

Dr. Alobaidi holds a Ph.D. in Urology from the Iraqi Council of Medical Specialties (F.I.C.M.S) and completed a Fellowship in Andrology and Infertility at Baghdad’s Al-Nahrain Higher Institute for Andrology and Male Infertility.

He has been invited to numerous live surgery workshops across the region, where he shares his surgical expertise in Penile Prosthesis Surgery, Peyronie’s Disease Surgery, and Male Infertility.

Dr. Alobaidi is an active member of:

  • International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM)
  • Middle East Society for Sexual Medicine (MESSM)
  • European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM)

He also serves as a member of the MESSM Newsletter Committee.

Specialist in Urology and Andrology Arab Board Certification (Doctorate) Subspecialization in Reconstructive Urological Surgery Arab Republic of Egypt

Dr. Haider is highly experienced in performing complex and advanced urological surgeries, achieving success rates that rival global medical centers.

2. Non-Conference Attendees
If you have not paid the conference fee, the workshop-only fee is now 100,000 IQD.
