Advancing Urology, Improving lives
Welcome
It is a profound honor to invite you to the 15th Iraqi Urology Association Scientific Conference. As we mark a decade and a half of this vital gathering, we celebrate a shared legacy of excellence and embrace the promising future of urology in Iraq.
Urological care is continually evolving. By bringing together consultants, researchers, and practitioners, our goal is to turn the latest clinical guidelines and scientific breakthroughs into everyday clinical excellence and better outcomes for our patients.
We are proud to host you in Baghdad, a city rich in history and warm in hospitality. Your presence is what drives our collective success, and we look forward to welcoming you to this landmark event.

Founded in 2004
The Iraqi Urology Association (IUA) is the professional body dedicated to advancing urological care, research, and education across Iraq. Founded on a mission to place scientific inquiry at the heart of clinical practice, the IUA serves as a vital network for urologists, surgeons, and medical professionals committed to excellence in patient care.
Through strategic collaborations with leading international bodies — including the Arab Association of Urology (AAU) and the European Association of Urology (EAU) — the IUA bridges the gap between local practitioners and the global medical community, while remaining deeply committed to continuous medical education.
By fostering a culture of innovation, academic research, and peer-to-peer mentorship, the Iraqi Urology Association continues to shape the future of urology in the region.
The scientific programme spans the full breadth of contemporary urology, organized into seven key tracks.
Prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, and urothelial cancers: screening, organ-sparing and focal therapy, surgical advances, and de-escalation strategies.
Implants, lower urinary tract reconstruction, urethroplasty, neurogenic bladder, overactive bladder, and chronic pelvic pain.
Advanced endourology in complex patients, surgical and non-surgical management of urolithiasis, and ureteral strictures.
The ageing male, sexual dysfunction, genetic discoveries, ART, and fertility preservation.
Complications and technology-driven innovations in BPO management.
Prevention and management of urological infections.
Addressing challenges, improving care, follow-up, and transition to adulthood.
